Denton, Texas based artist Maggie Juniper, combines the reality of hardships in life and the ugliness it can exude with the beauty and elegance of nature. She leans into the ideas of empowerment, resilience, perseverance, and strength as a way to find meaning and understanding behind the harshness of life. She utilizes acrylic painting on many kinds of substrates, as well as graphite, charcoal, digital art, collage-work, and more.

She is a young artist, only 23 years old, and is currently a college student at the University of North Texas. She is working towards her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Art & Design, and is still trying to find her place within the art realm. She is still exploring ideas, mediums, and techniques that will allow her to truly capture her emotions, and express herself to her audience.
